Dental or ENT problem??

Okay I will try and keep this simple. For the past 7 weeks I have had swollen glands, ears pain, jaw pain randomly throughout the day but today I am at the end of my tether and this mystery remains.A visit to doctor and blood tests confirmed all perfect results thankfully after a question of glandular fever.A few trips to dentist during these weeks suspected it maybe from a horizontally impacted wisdom tooth however this week the dentist said she doesn't think my symptoms match that so maybe teeth grinding so I start wearing a custom made mouthguard. No help.....so far....She mentions jaw pain and teeth grinding but I don't feel I do this grinding. Then allergies are thrown in as I have multiple so I am given a Kenalog injection this week to bring down inflammation but no relief.
Today I am at the end of my tether, painful glands when walking, pain from ear to jaw but no toothache. Is my next whinge to an ENT specialist ? it's a mystery to the professionals I have dealt with so far but I am in pain today and feel lost :(( I cannot annoy the dentist again!!!!!!!

Did the bloods check your Vitamin D levels? You can get jaw pain if you are Vit D deficient. Give it a google.

Could be a salivary gland problem. ENT may be wise and get them to check the parotid gland since this is located in the region you describe the pain.

Thanks for that.Never heard of that so more food for thought until I see the ENT specialist.Today was a good day, the first in 9 weeks!

Did the dentist see signs of grinding on your teeth?
I tooth grind in my sleep -more so when stressed. I have no memory of it, but DH and the dentist maintain I do! Plus, it bloody hurts.

I haven't got any complaints from my other half that I do... Dentist was suggesting tooth grinding (almost putting it into my head....) but no mention of evidence on teeth. She was suggesting this due to jaw pain on both sides and going down to glands. The mouth guard is not making a difference and it's pure torture to wear I find.Maybe I need to be more patient but 9 weeks of misery :(

Would you get the swollen glands as in I feel I have the mumps and most uncomfortable?
