Ouch! Sharp nipple pain

I'm not preggers or breastfeeding (and haven't done either in years). Keep getting a sharp pain in my right nipple, as though there are needles sticking in it. Bloody hurts!

Any ideas what it could be, please? Thanks.

I'm having similar pains too. Sharp jabbing pain sort of behind the nipple and also my whole boob is very achey and tender.

I'm not sure if I've just banged it and not realised (DD is very good at elbowing me in the boob ) or if something else is going on.

I've made an appointment with the GP but can't get in until next Tuesday so my mind is on overtime at the moment.

Hopefully it will turn out to be nothing for both of us
