First period after baby?

DS is now almost 11 months and I am still bf. I have recently cut back on feeds and at the start of this week had 3 days of light bleeding of very dark blood. My periods pre baby were 6 days and heavy. Was this a period? Or a freak bleed?!

Sounds like a period. Mine came back after 9 months but are much shorter and lighter than they used to be, which I'm very happy about!

9 months...around a similar time when I cut down on feeds. The first one was very short & brief. Second onwards got back to normalcy.

Oh that's great news! I'd heard horrors about extremely heavy periods and I wasn't looking forward to that!!!
