She has had it before, but it is terrible this time . It seemed to flare up after she had tonsilitis a few weeks back. I have been putting on her usual brand of eczema cream for the face (oh and someone suggested 'Propolis' from the health shop which worked last time)so I have been using that too and 'Blistex' for her lips, but it just seems to be getting worse!!! I am taking her to see the nurse at my doctors tomorrow but I don't hold out much hope, as last time she seemed at a loss as to what to suggest. Has anyone had any experience of this? Have you any suggestions as to something I could try? TIA.

My DS used to suffer badly with eczema on his face until he was about 2, when I discovered his trigger was bananas. Cut them out of his diet and it cleared up in two weeks. Might be worth a try. I remember using hydrocortisone occasionally and diprobase gel daily, which helped but sometimes his face bled. Hope you find something that helps...

Thanks KBear Nurse prescribed 'Doublebase' gel and mild hydrocortisone for her, so we shall see. She also suggested that we not use anything in her bath and that she wash in plain water, it occured to me later, what do I do about washing her hair?!!
