Feeling shaky after food.

For the past week I have felt very shaky after food, I haven't changed what I eat in this time and after an hour or so feel perfectly fine. It's almost the feeling you get when you have on onset of D&V but with no other symptoms and not constantly. Any ideas?

Blood sugar maybe? I get it sometimes but only if I'm ravenous before hand. Or exhausted and hungry.

Maybe get your iron levels checked too.

Thanks I'm never starving before I eat. I'll see if it calms down in this next week and maybe keep a diary of what I've ate to see if there are any triggers.

It might be a drop in blood pressure.

What, typically, are you eating?

patterkiller · 09/09/2015 07:20

Breakfast Greek yogurt and blueberries
Lunch veg soup of some sort sometimes bread.
Dinner salmon, new potatoes, asparagus, kale.
Snacks today pistachios but usually a bag of crisps my weakness

Just thinking I haven't been drinking much, I'm going to make an effort to have more water today. And it's mostly after breakfast or lunch where I feel ill.

Could be postprandial hypotension? I think drinking water before eating is supposed to help. Sounds like you need to go and chat to your GP.

I agree - I think you need to see your GP
