Last night I had a sudden, terrible pain in the sole of my foot. It was very itchy, and really, really hurt - as if somebody had suddenly stuck glass in it. It hurt all the way up my leg for a few minutes and then stopped. I now have a penny sized black mark, like a bruise, there - but it can't be a bruise because I wasn't doing anything at the time to cause a bruise! It doesn't hurt anymore, and indeed didn't hurt for long anyway, but this black mark is very noticeable.
It's happened a couple of times before, but on my thumb - awful pain, itching and then whole thumb turned black.
Any ideas, please? All I can think of is an insect bite, but there's no puncture mark and no insects were seen any of the times it's happened. ????
