This is topical at the moment but I would like to add my perspective.
There are many parents who are undecided on this vaccination and yes I can understand their concerns. I would say please take the opportunity to help your dc.
My dd2 died from this shit awful crappy illness nearly 4 years ago. She had what I thought was just a high temperature and some sort of virus. She wasn't old enough to tell me what was wrong ( 17 months ) so I took her to the GP who sent me straight to hospital. The rest I can't write. I blame myself for not getting her to hospital earlier.
Anyway don't go through this, if there is a jab to stop this happening to someone else's baby that is brilliant.
I'm not posting for the sympathy just don't want anyone else to go through what I did.
Hope this makes sense I'm a bit teary typing it.

Thank you for posting Sugar. I can't imagine what you have been through. My DS is a month old today and he will definitely get the vaccine at his 8 week appt. I'm so sorry to hear your story xx

Thank you for this, my baby had the first of this set of vaccines yesterday and I have been wondering if I did the right thing. You have convinced me I have. So so so sorry for your loss Flowers.
