I've had low back/hip pain for years (I'm 47) and I work in a job which involves a fair bit of manual handling ..a special school, and even with hoists etc I spend a lot of time moving large children, doing their physio etc.
Anyway my normal pain has morphed into what feels like labour pains down my left leg, starts in my bum cheek and goes down to my big toe. Every minute or so. Can't sit on that cheek either.. and using the clutch in the car... OW!
I assume it will improve on its own? But meantime what can I do to ease it? I have naproxen to help, but tomorrow I'm moving DD2 into her new flat post University and I can barely hobble!
