Does anyone have this?? I need to wee more or less as soon as ive been... I can hold it & usually try to wait and go every 3 hours because that's how long u should go apparently & I know when u have an overactive bladder that's what you do. My doctor sent a sample off for a more indepth urine test which came back normal, she said it was probably an infection or overactive bladder!! I had something similar about 3 years ago but it was more at night than in the day I tried tablets from the doctor but they didn't really do anything & in the end it just went. It's weird... & because I'm sort of timing myself n going everyone 3 hours it's always on my mind thus making it bloody worse. Can anyone help!!!

I've had an overactive bladder which lasted for months with no infection and it drove me crazy. Do you have a mirena? I think this was the cause for me as it got better as soon as it was removed Confused

Sometimes I have it for a day or two just before a period so wonder if in some cases it could be hormonal? I know an overactive bladder can also be a symptom of IBS.

Cut out coffee and other drinks that irritate the bladder. maybe tea, diet coke, alcohol. Drink plenty of water. And try to extend the time between wees gradually not suddenly. Start with aiming for 1 hour, then gradually increase. You can also measure the amount of wee you do in a measuring jug (fun). And try to gradually increase that, maybe get it up to 200ml. You are retraining your bladder to store more and reducing the senstivity that gives you the urge to go.
Google "bladder training" you will probably find some proper instructions

Don't know what a merina is so I'm guessing I don't have one lol! Yes I know about all the bladder training stuff I've sort of done it before but it wasn't quite like this. I can usually hold it for 3 hours sometimes more but it's the fact that as soon as ive been I cud go again that's pissing me off! I'm quite a lot overweight I'm hoping it's just that tbh n it will go if I lose weight!

Isn't it a sign of diabetes? Maybe ask Dr if they'll test for that at the same time.
