Thrush - under my armpit

hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this?
I have for about a week now had thrush under my armpit. Can I just use off the shelf cream during pregnancy? It seems like a really silly thing to see a Dr about so I want to avoid it if I can.
It is driving me insane

Oof. Big sympathies - this is sweat rash I assume. I had it last year and it was awful.

I just got some Canesten (actually bought it online) but as you are pregnant I think you should see the doctor. Ask the pharmacist for advice first to save making an appointment but I suspect they may refer you to the GP. You could also ask your midwife.

Do get yourself treated, I wish I had done mine sooner.

Thank you for your reply tribpot.
I am still in first trimester (12 week scan tomorrow) and for last 6 weeks I have felt all greasy on my skin and hair - usually dry skin and hair - I may just book appointment with the GP then if you think they will send me there anyway as the itch is driving me mental. It did get slightly better by just using talc but not enough

No, it needs a proper dose of anti-fungal. Check with the pharmacist first, doesn't do any harm but I suspect they will want to be cautious and get the GP to prescribe.
