just wondering as when DB is born DH is going to put his name down/see gp about one but just wondered how long he is likely to wait..I have this habit of getting pregnant very quickly but obviously cant afford anymore children. Would love more but we have discussed it and this is the best option for us as if we were in position to have more would look at other avenues.

We had a thread like this very recently Nemo, but I can't find it. I think the general concensus was that it depends on the individual NHS Trust

thought it would NDP but just wanted a rough idea if possible..lol

How long have you got until baby is due ?

It may well happen that DH can go in for his consultation etc and still be on the waiting list when baby is born. There's nothing to sto him going into the GP and asking what he waiting list is before actually putting his name down, is there ?

Nemoinapeartree · 27/11/2006 13:09

nomdeplume am due 14th jan so not that long. Will speak to him about going into see the gp as its not going to happen before baby is born even is he is on the list..lol

In our trust, I've managed to conceive, deliver and bring up baby to the age of 5 months and he's not yet got his done, although he does have the appointment.... only three weeks now

eek best get it sorted sooner rather than later then... have already been pg 3 times in 4 yrs and we really really cant afford anymore..I wouldnt mind we dont even get to err enjoy each other that often!!!
