Periods - how long do they last?

Have been on the pill for years and years and years and can't remember what my 'natural' periods were like but now they are back and seem to last for ages - 6-7 days. Is this what they should be? When I was on the pill it was a guaranteed 5 day job with no probs. Now I don't know what's happening, or when or for how long!!!

Me too . I've only had about 5 since my dd was born ( she's 16months but I'm still bf so they took ages to come back) but they are much longer than they used to be. Usually 7-8 days.
