Lumpy shin bones

I have lots of little lumps all down the front of my shin bones - not sore or anything and always forget to mention to gp. Any ideas what they are or if I should worry?

Are they soft and squidgy? I have one and my mum told me it's the start of a varicose vein. She told me that a couple of years ago though and it hasn't changed at all.

I've got them too, if you are talking about what feels like little hard bumps on the front of the bone. Not sure if they are from previously suffering from shin splints, or if all shins tend to have them. Sure they are nothing to worry about though.

When I run my fingers down the bone I'd say they feel hard but if you squeeze one in particular there is a bit of give in then so they're not bone and don't appear to be stuck ditrctly on the bone. They're not particularly round. For some reason i vaguely wonder if they're fatty lumps of some sort maybe but not sure why!

Me too. If you press down and run your finger down the front of the bone it feels slightly corrugated - I think it's normal, or at least a normal variant.

I have these too. Always wondered what they were but never concerned enough to mention to GP.
