Anxiety - when to see GP

I've recently had quit a few episodes of anxiety...basically feels like I've forgotten how to breathe and need to spend a few minutes reminding myself! It's not something I've ever had before and I do have a bit of stress at the moment but I dont 'feel' stressed...seems like whilst mentally in coping - physically my body isn't.

When do u visit your GP? Is it even worthwhile - not sure if they'd be able to help!

Try this self help website. It's fab for normalising and getting coping mechanisms. If below arnt enough Google (or ring your surgery) to find out who supplies the mental health services at your GP's. You should be able to self refer for 6 sessions with a therapist (I am one myself).
