virus making forehead feel like in a clamp?

doctor thinks the headache that feels like a clamp around my forehead is caused by a virus. Has anyone else suffered from this? And how long did it last?

I had a sinus infection that was awful and I could feel pressure all over my forehead- it was really bad. Might be that?

not sure, wander, it's been very migrainey weather this week , so i'm keeping an open mind as well as a sore head. I'll google sinus infection and see how many ticks. Thanks for the suggestion.
