Slapped Cheek?

Has anyone had experience of Slapped Cheek? I think DD aged 9 may have had it. Her cheeks have been red & over her nose & she had felt very tired & a bit sick the past few days. She had a rash on her body a few days ago. Could this be the virus? She has a few allergies & I kept thinking that she had eaten something as her face can go red if she had paprika. She hasn't eaten anything that is different so I'm thinking it could be Slapped Cheek. Do I need to take her to the Dr? As it's a virus is there no treatment?

Hi there. My dad had it earlier in the year. She had a high temp and very red rash like cheeks for about five days she also had no appetite. I took her to docs but they said there was nothing they could do as its a virus. We just used calpol and Brufen and kept an eye on her temp using cool baths when she was too hot. Hope she fees better soon
