Chickenpox ......... expose DD to risk via StepDS's or not ?

My DH's, DS's little brother has apparently got Chickenpox (not certain as his mum won't have taken him to the dr's !). We are supposed to be having our DS (who has already had it himself) for the weekend but am unsure whether to cancel as our DD is only 18 wks old and currently teething.
Should we knowingly expose her to the risk so she may or may not get them now, or should we keep her away from risks until she begins nursery/school ??

No, don't expose her now, she's too little and may not even gain proper immunity. I would leave it until at least one year.

So the Sds you'd have to stay has already had it ? If so I don't think he can carry it and therefore unless she has contact (ie. in same room) with the unwell child herself risks are very, very low.

Oh, I didn't get that,I was a bit confused about the various children- yes, if your ds has already had it then you're not exposing her to any risk.
