Runny nappies but no temp - teething?

DS has had very runny nappies (I mean its getting on his clothes!) for the past few days. He's not eating as much as normal but he is still eating (he's 14 months) and he hasn't got a temp. He's been teething a little - fingers in the mouth etc - could this be the cause of the horrid nappies?

Could well be-do they smell any different?
DD gets a kind of acidic smell to hers when teething.

Funny you should say that Whoosh - before the nappies got runny, whenever DS did a wee it def smelled acidic
