Are they a bit woo or are they legit?

& are they preventative or a treatment?

My Aunt was told to get some by her GP - but that they weren't on prescription

Medicinal, contain lots of Vitamin C, various uses, and also help with colds, disorders of the kidneys & bladder, and as a general tonic for the system.

Thanks Dodo - never know whether something is 'proven' or not

Anti-inflammatories. Took them for back pain for a while. Can't say they made any difference but nothing els did either.

lots of vit c, nothing else proven. Cheaper to get them from Poundland etc than pay a prescription charge. Perhaps aunt's diet is lacking for other reasons, and this is a good way to get her vitamins. She can't overdose as excess just gets pissed away.
