Finding an NHS dentist

Hi I have just moved cities and was wondering if I could have some advise on NHS dentists. I have called all the dentists off the NHS denists search in a 5 mile radius, they are either not accepting patients or have a 5/9/12 month waiting list. Is there anything I can do to see an NHS dentist quicker than this?
