Feeling run down and low on energy

I have been feeling very exhausted and just generally run down recently. I have a 16mo DD who hasn't slept really for weeks due to teething and she is constantly poorly with one thing or another that she has picked up from nursery. I have also had a lot on recently... returning to work full time, moving house, finishing university part time and starting a new job. I am ill quite a lot, my face is covered in spots, I hsve ulcers in my mouth and on my tongue and my eyes are so dark that even my boss mentioned it to me.
Can anyone suggest anything to help? I just want to feel myself again!

Go to the doctor and get checked out! Lack of iron, veg and fruit can cause all sorts of tiredness but so can medical causes so you need to rule that out. Your doc will probably send you for blood tests too. It may just be lack of quality sleep and thinking of others before yourself. I've had darkness round eyes due to poor iron levels. I tried supplements but I didn't seem to absorb them so I turned to red meat, watercress and anything else high in iron. I also find Pilates helps my digestion and although exercise with a small child may be the last thing on your mind it also helps me sleep better due to dealing with neck pain. Just like in an aircraft that decompresses where you are told to put on your mask before assisting others, being a mum you have to sometimes put yourself first otherwise you'll be no use to anyone. Hope you improve soon x

Thank you pettswood, that is really good advice. I definitely will mention it to my GP - I wasn't aware they would look into things like this.
