Electric shock type pain in neck ?

Over the last 3 weeks or so I have had what I can only describe as an electric shock feeling at the front of my neck, left side, near the shoulder blade.
It comes from nowhere and last only a couple of seconds but it is excruciating. It has happened, maybe 6 times.
Absolutely no idea, I am 50, so am used to all sorts of twinges, pains, aches, which I usually can think of a reasonable cause.

I imagine it is what being tasered or cattle prodded must feel like. Most bizarre.
Any ideas anyone?

No idea, could be a trapped nerve, but i think you should see your GP

Hello did you ever get a diagnosis or treatment of this? I have had two electric shocks in my neck and when I googled it, it was MS symptoms. I’m so scared I haven’t been sleeping. Also 5 weeks pregnant
