Hi yorkiegirl, ds (2) had a bad fall in the summer and ended up with a small hole in his forehead because a small stone went in and, thankfully, fell out again. He still has a dent there when he frowns.

Is the bump your dd has painful to the touch? Might just be a deep bruise. I've banged my head a few times on open cupboard doors and the lumps I got usually stayed for a few weeks, but were only sore for the first week. If you are majorly concerned though just go back to see the GP

Hi, YG!

Good news I think - DS2 fell off his bike onto his chin a few months ago and was left with a large hole, which the treatment room nurse fixed with steristrips.

After it healed he was left with quite a big lump under his chin, which I assumed was permanent, but I just checked his chin and there is nothing there now!

(I took a pic at the time so hang on and I will see how long ago it was)

It was 6 months ago and there is literally nothing there now! So DD1 may have the lump for a while but it will go.

The hole in DS2's chin was a sort of puncture like DD1's forehead though.

I bet your teapot hole (what, it attacked you? Like Emu? ) wasn't fixed with steri-strips. They have got quite good at this sort of thing.
