Any dentists out there?

So I had a filling in one of my top wisdom teeth a couple of weeks ago. My dentist warned me there would be some soreness for a few days as it was a deep filling, but I'm still in pain! The pain is not in the tooth I had the filling in though. I'm in pain along the bottom set of teeth under the filling. Is this even possible??? Can someone explain it to me? Am I going to have to go back to the dentist?

But why is it different teeth that are hurting?

Maybe it's affected your bite ?

Maybe there's something wrong with the other tooth too

Is it referred pain? where the pain is felt elsewhere in the mouth generally in same area below or above teeth worked on. google it and see if it fits your symptoms.

I would go back, because it could be that filling is too high and needs adjusted.

Yes - that's what I meant ,if a filling is a just a tiny bit out it can affect how the lower teeth meet the top teeth .

Dentist here: definitely sounds like the filling is 'high', and affecting your bite. You need to go back to the dentist, and they can v easily adjust it
