Anyone know anything about neuralgia?

I think i may have it. I have a pain which goes from the bottom of my neck, on the left side, up over my ear and into my face and eye. My eye is sore and my ear feels like its going to burst. It has been coming and going all day, very sharp pain

Saltire, there is a wonderful book called"trigger point therapy massage" I think it would really help you. It certainly helps when my jaw probs get bad. You can get it on amazon.

Thanks kittywits. I am wondering if it is neuralgia or something to do with the pain i get elsewhere - i am waiting for a diagnosis of fibromyalgia from the rheumatologist. I shall look for that book though.
