Not sure to go to the GP about this as it has only happened twice with a gap of about 2 months between incidences.
I get woken up by a bad burning pain in my right knee (feels like it is beneath the kneecap) so I get up and have a look and there is a red warm patch about 2 inches in diameter. Bending my knee hurts a lot so I lie down and the red patch fades and the pain goes in about 15 mins. Never happens in the day only in the middle of the night. Think I am sleeping on my side when it happens.
Any ideas?
