Redress this burn or not?

This burn is a week old and I had the dressing removed yesterday. It is not cracking and sore, should I have it redressed or just leave it to heal?

Leave to heal. Sudocrem?

Kundry · 08/07/2015 19:23

Leave it alone. Including leaving the Sudocrem off.

Dh has large second degree burns at the moment and sudocrem has been very helpful to keep the skin supple at this stage of the healing process.

One issue is that the burnt skin is so dry that it cracks everytime I move my hand.

I will keep it uncovered and take some painkillers.
