Sorry for TMI in advance! I had my daughter three months ago, had a third degree tear and for the last couple of months been battling really bad piles. Been to GP a couple times, tried anosul and steroid cream/suppositories but it's just getting worse. There is always quite a lot of bleeding but it's now getting quite painful and there was a clot in the blood today. I have IBS anyway so usually quite soft loose stools. Going to make an appt with the GP tome but tbh he seems quite squeamish about the whole thing and I'm not sure what he can do. It's getting to the point that I'm considering fasting for a day or so just for a rest from going to the loo but I'm breastfeeding so I don't think that's really possible.

It's best to get checked out by the Dr. There are stronger treatments than Anusol that you can get on prescription. They only really operate in extreme cases so try everything else first. Hope you get it sorted. Definitely don't fast. Have you tried lactolose to soften the stool?
