Ds (15 months) has nasty sounding cough...each cough starts with a bark...it's croup isn't it ...so what do I need to do?

Hang damp washing to dry in his room with the heating on? (not many places to buy a humidifier at 7pm)

My Dad is coming to visit tomorrow - ds is always ill when he comes to stay...

Ypu could try sitting with him in the bathroom with the hot taps runnig(nice and steamy). I used to read to my dd when we did this.

I hope that's right. I'm sure someone will say if its not
Hope he's better soon.

Have you got a shower?
Or maybe just the sink taps. If you leave them running for a while with the door shut that might do it.

Just pouring the red wine...it's a large box if you need one
