Coughing for 8 weeks

It isn't a bad cough. It is a tickly throat type cough that is usually triggered by something such as a change in temperature or if I lay down or lean forward. It certainly isn't constant but I have coughed at least a few times a day, every day for 8 weeks now.

No other symptoms - no phlegm or pain etc.

I know the NHS website says to go to the GP if a cough lasts more than 3 weeks but if I feel perfectly well isn't it a waste of appointment?

Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

Just go and get checked out. Look after number one. Don't worry if its a waste of an app, its OBviously on ur mind. It probably will be nothing but ur not going to move on until you have been. See it as a morning out lol Smile
