Every 6 months or so I get this. I come over dizzy and headachey and exhausted, I sweat through my clothes and have no get up and go. As soon as I woke up this morning I felt awful, got to the train station and the delays and crowds sent me into a sweaty panic and I had to come home. Previously it has lasted a week or so and doctor said it was a virus, but I have no sickness or anything. ConfusedConfused

Panic attack? Thyroid problem? How are you iron levels?

Lonz · 16/06/2015 14:01

I wouldn't describe this as a virus if you got panicked. But I'm not a doctor blahblahblah, but still.
As above poster, also have you considered anxiety? I would get your iron levels checked and maybe thyroids too. I am and I feel like you described sometimes.

Also could be hormonal.

Thank you for your responses, sorry I've been dozing on and off. I do get quite anxious so it could be that. I've had quite a few blood tests in the last few years and tested for anaemia but nothing came back. What could I do to boost iron anyway? Would it be food or vitamins?

Well if it is low then you would need a supplement, but otherwise just eat enough iron rich foods. If it was low iron then the dizzyness would be frequent, and you sound as though there have been months when you've been fine? Which makes something like high anxiety, or hormonal issues, more likely. Or possibly low blood sugar if you had raced to the station and maybe not had much breakfast?
