Ovulation pain?

Just wanting to know if this is normal or something I need to get checked.
Since I had children I started to have ovulation pain.
Recently i get slight stabby pains (irritating but not really painful) where I imagine my right ovary is, then I get a day of achy draggy period type pain with intermittent stabbiness and dull ache.
Is this normal? Does anyone else get this?

I got it occasionally before having DD now it's every month post childbirth. As far as I know it's normal. I quite like it, much easier than an opk if we decide to try for DC2...

I get it really bad some months, can take my breath away. I've been told its normal Hmm

Ovulation pain should not be dragged out like you describe; its worth getting it checked out to establish the cause. Any such changes should always be reported.

I would be asking for a gynae referral however, as such problems are well outside a GPs general remit.

Ok, thank you.
I'm going to the gp next week so I'll talk to her about it then.
