What have I done to my tongue ?

All down the left hand side of my tongue is so so sore and I haven't a clue why. It's not particularly red, and can't see any scratches or anything on it but it really hurts.

Could i possibly have bitten it in my sleep or would I have noticed ??

It's making me talk funny.

Have you burnt it? The end of my tongue feels like this because I burnt it tasting a sauce I was making before!

I don't think I have no, at least don't remember doing it. It only started this morning, which is what made me think I could have bitten it in my sleep.

Seems to have gotten worse as the days gone on.
