My DD has been itching her head, it is not nits which would have been my 1st thought, but where she itches it is all read & dry & has scabed over a bit where she has broken the skin from itching. I have also noticed a slight rash to her forehead.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be & what i could put on it.

I thought it could be an allergic reaction but i can not think of anything i have used which is different apart from johnsons baby softwash could it be this? or a food she has eaten?

I think you need to take her to the doctor's. Could be psoraisis, eczema or cradle cap. Is the skin scaly?

Well i was looking at it today in the daylight & bits of it looked like cradle cap, does cradle cap itch then? ds never had it so i don't have a clue.

I'm not sure that it does, but someone told me it's a form of eczema, so I guess it might if it was severe. Both eczema and psoraisis itch though.

Ok thanks for your advice, it does not look to bad or sore but dd keeps itching so i am now concerned, think it is probably a trip to the GP's.
