Chicken pox VZIG

Ok, bit of an odd one, but I am desperate for advice!!

I am 23 weeks pregnant and 10 days ago was in close contact with my nephew who then developed chicken pox the next day. I am unsure (as is my mum) whether I have had it so contacted my GP and had a blood test to check immunity. That came back inconclusive, and is being tested at a lab tomorrow again to see if I am immune or not.

I had the VZIG injection today on the advice of my GP as it has to be administered within 10 days. However, he told me I will be infectious for 28 days. I asked if I would still be infectious if my blood test came back as me having immunity. He said I wouldn't be...but he didn't sound sure!!

It's my best friends wedding in 3 weeks. There will be pregnant women and newborns there. If my test comes back that I don't have immunity, I won't go. If it comes back that I do, will I still be infectious because I had the VZIG??

Hope someone knowledgeable can help - I am devastated at the prospect of missing her big day.

Thanks
