Pongy breath 10 month old

I've noticed my 10 month old DD has recently started to have occasional pongy breath. Is this normal? I always thought babies and children never have the problem. It doesn't seem to be worse at any particular time of the day. Cheers for any comments.

Mine has had that when he has a bit of a cold or something. The doc said something about adenoids or something being relatively large when they are young and that as they got older it would get better. (I'm not sure if I've got that quite right, but basically, in DS's case, it wasn't something to worry about and should sort itself out.)
