periods and cycle has gone strange

I've gone from 28 day regular cycles with 7 day flooding periods to 24 day cycles with 7 day floods and then this month a 29 day cycle and a 2 day one night 'normal' period

Is this normal?

No chance of pregnancy and no chance of menopause

Can cycles just change like this?

Probably an obvious question... Have you had / using contraception?

I've gone mad since having the injection in November; bleeding for nearly 5 months, got tablets to stop it, now I'm bleeding again. I only had the one jab because I didn't go back for the second!

No. I can't tolerate hormonal contraception. Part of me has rather enjoyed not having to wake up to change pads and tampons but then part of me is 'hold up this isn't normal for me'

How old are you? Perimenopause? X

My GP told me thyroid problems (can't remember whether hyper/hypo) can shorten your cycle & affect bleeding. Probably worth getting it checked out.
