Is it possible eggs were causing DS1's teenage spots?

DS1 (14yo) was in the habit of having eggs everyday for breakfast before school. Was probably eating 15 pw. As eggs are now good for us again, I thought this was a good thing and better than sugary cereal etc.

However, in the last month or so he's decided he prefers porridge or cheese on toast and his skin has cleared up tremendously. He never had full blown acne, but lots of blackheads and small whiteheaded pimples. His skin is still not completely clear, but vastly improved. Could it be the eggs?

sorry Grin

I expect the spots will come back at some point. or possibly he's grown out of it.

acne comes in waves and there's nothing dietary about it

Perhaps if he thinks it's eggs, they'll be a placebo effect? Wink

He hasn't connected eggs and spots, he's just decided he CBA cooking them anymore.
