Worried :(

I've got an appointment booked on Wednesday with the nurse, could see Dr for another week so will have to do but am worried.

I'm 36. Came off the pill properly about 6 months ago after being on it for years. Periods appeared to settle down straight away. I went back on it a month ago but now off again (long and boring story not health related). Am currently on a period.

Friday just gone my face suddenly went hot and last for an hour. My body felt cold but my face felt sunburnt. DH said I didn't feel hot but had slight rosy cheeks. This happened again yesterday and is happening again now. I feel light headed and sick when it happens.

My BP has always been low. I started running again 4 weeks ago and I always get headaches afterwards if I don't take paracetamol before I run. I suffer with migraines (caused by shoulder tension).

I've also been suffering with thrush down below. Started when I came off the pill. A small lump appeared between my lady bits and anus. Had it checked out twice and Dr said nothing to worry about but it's getting bigger and the thrush worse around the time of my periods. Only bad at night or when I wipe down below. Not constantly itchy.

It's been a stressful time, but not sure can blame that for everything.

Feel better for writing it down :(

Don't know about the heat/rosy cheeks but could what you think is thrush actually be an allergy/irritation to sanitary products/toilet paper if it only happens when you have period or wipe. Ask Dr to check for certain it is thrush. lots of skin conditions (eczema/psoriasis) down there can have similar symptoms and the wrong treatment could irritate it further. HTH

Were you using tampons when you first got the hotness of the face. Have you taken your temp? Just considering toxic shock syndrome rare but does happen. It could be hormonal surges like a hot flush but they tend to only last a few minutes.
