Smear test - is it the wrong time?

I've been really silly - I think. I've got a smear test booked for tomorrow and I finished a pack of pills in Saturday... Are you supposed to have a test mid-cycle? I could ring up and cancel.... Advice and shared knowledge much appreciated.

I think so, although my first cycles after pregnancy were a bit erratiy but the nurse didn't mind as long as I wasn't bleeding

I think it's fine as long as you are not bleeding, maybe check with the surgery first thing?
