Regularly taking Aspirin - effect on periods?

Sorry if this is TMI but I would appreciate hearing anyone's experiences.

I have recently started taking Aspirin daily following a stroke/embolism.

My concern is I already have heavy periods and I fear they will be even worse on Aspirin. I have been on it 3 weeks and am due on. I already have issues with leaking etc which makes work etc really difficult and I wondered if anyone had any experience of whether or not aspirin had affected the bleeding? The doctor gave me a bit of a vague answer which I appreciate was because the other health issues are more of a priority but I am quite worried.

I am 35, periods always quite bad but even worse ever since DC4 was born 4 years ago.
