Is It normal to be able to feel your glands under your jaw/ by throat ? I'm going crazy.

I definitely can feel mine

There are lots of glands in your neck, some of them lymph nodes which generally are only felt if you have an infection, although they are always there and if you really prod ( i bet you have been!) you can feel them, then if you poke them they will get inflammed. Then there are salivary glands and im wondering if you are talking about those, if i prod and poke at my jaw line i can often feel them, freaks me out a bit because i suffer from health anxiety but its perfectly normal.

I suffer from that too and It's my latest obsession, I recently had a thyroid test as I requested some bloods tests , I got thdon't results of the CBC all ok but doc wants to repeat thyroid in four weeks , when j asked why the reply was that because I've been " feeling tired" he wants to repeat it in four weeks to rule out a thyroid problem. After some googling I'm worried something is now wrong ... Why do we Google ....!

Google is not your friend!!! You are probably tired because of your anxiety - i know how you feel and it is exhausting

I know you are right & I think my glands are ok they are soft if u push in and they move I must leave them alone. I hate this anxiety!!
