Since having a copper coil fitted 6 months post partum, I've had chronic constipation (treating with laxative movicol), constant pain/tightness/sciatica like pains down right hand side of body, blurry vision at times in right eye. I've seen Gp 3 times (and different ones) and they say these symptoms cannot be caused by copper coil. Im EBF and on antidepressants (both of which could cause constipation i understand).
I'm waiting for referral to Physio then gynae. But I can't bear the constant pain/irritation - and want coil removed now. If pains don't go after removal then I will continue to search. My worry is that the gp fitted a mireva coil by accident instead of the copper coil (I swear the box had 'mireva' written on it at the fitting). I would be so grateful for advice on WWYD xx
