Anyone know if having an operation can mess up your cycle?

I had an appendectomy three weeks ago and AF is now two days late (or three, not good at counting ). But just wondered if that could be due to having my insides hauled out and shoved back in!

Any advice/experience of this?

I think any stress can effect it physical or otherwise.

oh that's true - hadn't considered it as a "stress".

An operation is a massive 'stress' to your system.

You've effectively been bashed about, it's easy to underestimate the trauma, your poor body has been through.
