vomitting last night - now bright red cheek - any ideas???

ds (17mo) threw up last night and continued to throw up liquids throughout the night. diarrhoea this morning.

over the last couple of hours he's developed one bright red cheek and a small red patch on the other cheek. have googled slapped cheek but it doesn't mention vomitting.

any ideas?

When children vomit a lot, they tend to get little burst blood vessels around the eyes and face. This is just from the exertion of vomiting. Hope he is better soon.

hmmm i don't think it's that tbh - it's a very even colour and is warm to the touch
