Help, panicking about DP and liver disease

DP had some routine blood tests about a month ago. They came back mostly normal but show slight elevated ALT levels (68) so they have called him in for an ultrasound of the liver.

I stupidly googled it and am now terrified he has liver disease or liver cancer.

He is 31, doesn't drink a huge amount, not overweight, no other symptoms.

Anyone else got similar experiences? I get horrendous anxiety and am bricking it.

DH had raised something- I think it was ALT and at first I think the doctors didn't really believe he doesn't often drink. In the end after further tests it showed he was over producing some liver enzyme which was the cause of the stomach troubles they initially were investigating. It is harmless other than causing his stomach to be a bit upset. It was a bit worrying at the time, but now a couple of years later I can't even remember the name if the enzyme he over produces. Try not to worry. Google always suggests cancer or horrendous diseases, even if there is more likely a less sinister explanation.
