A year ago I throd a small piece of plastic into my foot. I thought I got it all out when I pulled it back out however it would not heal at all. So after about a month I ended up at the local Minor Injury where the lady managed to pull out a small piece of plastic (We think it was plastic) All good we both thought. A month later it still had not healed so I went back. This time I got a xray to see if there was anything in the foot. Nadah.
Back to the lady who originally had taken out the plastic and she gave me some steri strips and gaze type netting to aid with healing. Finally after 3 months it healed.
All good ... However it is now 1 year later and I am feeling sore by where this cut / plastic was. When I touch it I can feel a small bump inside.
What is this? Is it possible that there is still plastic in there that didnt show up on the xray? Or is it just I am an appalling healer and this has healed badly?
It is not exactly painful and I work in a supermarket so I am on my feet all day and I can walk perfectly fine. It is just sore and not nice to feel. Right now sitting upright with my feet up there is no pain at all.
