MMR question for HCPs / virus experts

DS had MMR 10 days ago and yesterday came down with a fever, very very vague rash and general unwellness. Obviously this is likely a mild form of measles which is a common side effect.

My question is - is he contagious during this phase? He seems much better today but don't want to risk him passing anything on.

I have read that the rash associated with mmr is not contagious

from nhs faq:

If my child develops a mild case of measles after receiving their first MMR vaccine, are they contagious to non-vaccinated children?

No. Post-vaccination symptoms are not infectious, so your child will not pass anything on to non-vaccinated children. Â
