Duct Ectasia experiences?

I've just been diagnosed with duct ectasia. I've been offered the surgery to remove my ducts to relieve the discomfort (it is quite painful and annoying tbh). I'm a bit unsure about whether to have the operation and interested to hear if anyone else has had it? I'm only 31 so not sure I'm quite ready to be unable to breastfeed (although I wasn't planning on any more children).

Hi, I'm only seeing this post today. Did you go ahead with the procedure? I was diagnosed 2 years ago & still finding it irritating but don't want to give up my option of BF.
