I am no poo troll.

Had my gall bladder removed on Friday, lots of codeine and I have drunk enough due to sleeping but before that I had jandiance and was nil by mouth for several days. As a result I can't remember when I had a proper poo.

What do I need to do?

Thanks. Are they similar to fybogl gel? As the packet says not suitable for people who have been on morphine or codine.

No but they were generally not great. I will send DH to the chemist tomorrow.

Lots of prunes and dried apricots and coffee worked for me. I was sent home with a laxative, but I'm a bit scared of them, so never took any.

Are you still taking the codeine?

Mostlyjustaluker · 05/05/2015 13:48

Stopped codine now but as I had a stuck stone I was hospital for several days before on a mixture of morphine and codine. I have had some prunes and there has been some small improvement.

I found it improved quite quickly after stopping the codiene. I also logged my food on an app called my fitness pal, to help me concentrate on getting plenty of fibre, which I think helped too.
I hope you are feeling better soon.Flowers
